May 2005 "Youth Get Involved Fair 2005" at Martin Van Buren H.S.,Queens Village, NY Y.G.I. is honored by Bank of America as one of New York City's top community based organizations Summer 2005 Y.G.I. makes two visits to Queen of Peace Residence, Queens Village, NY October 2005 Y.G.I. participated in "Park Day" and assisted in the clean up of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY December 2005 Y.G.I., in conjunction with Martin Van Buren H.S. Leaders, Scholars and Student Organizations, sponsored a drive to benefit a family devastated by Hurricane Katrina January 2006 Y.G.I. assisted members of St. Albans Baptist Church, St. Albans, NY with it's community food distribution February 2006 Y.G.I. visits Queen of Peace Residence, Queens Village, NY March 2006 Y.G.I. collected hygiene items for Allen Women's Resource Center, Jamaica, NY May 2006 "Youth Get Involved Fair 2006" Martin Van Buren H.
